 Little Scholars Center is a Roman Catholic childcare center operated by Saint Cecelia Roman Catholic Church. Our programs teach that all are welcome and equal in the eyes of God and their fellow students.

Located on the St. Cecelia Parish campus in Iselin, NJ approximately one mile from the Garden State Parkway and Metro Park train station. *All children must be toilet trained and 3 or 4 years old by 10/31.

| Our Three Year Old program is based on the highly respected High Reach curriculum. The focus is to provide our little scholars with hands-on activities allowing them to learn through experimentation and exploration while developing higher order thinking skills: language, science, patterning, independent thinking and creative expression. And of course, having fun while developing confidence and self-esteem!
Specific topics and subjects explored include:
• Language development and literacy
• Phonological awareness
• Counting, sorting and problem solving
• Creative expression and music
• Socialization and healthy habits
• Shapes and colors
• Numbers
• Gym

Our Four Year Old program is designed to help children achieve the confidence and readiness skills needed for Kindergarten. The focus is to go beyond the academics and promote the social and emotional development, creativity, and positive approaches to learning while encouraging a preschooler's playfulness and self-esteem.

• Alphabet recognition
• Numbers and counting
• Shapes and patterning/colors
• Positional concepts and one-to-one correspondence
• Socialization

• Independent thinking
